When moving in, you will need to :
- Connect all amenities (electricity, water, phone, internet..)
- Insure your house and car
- Open a bank account
- Register your children for school
- Buy a car or register your English car in France
- Find an English speaking  tradesmen, house keeper...

We can :
- Make phone calls on your behalf
- Help you fill out forms and interpret contracts
- get quotations for you
- Give you information and useful addresses

- You will have forms to fill to register to the French Medical Insurance (Sécurité Sociale),
for taxes, insurances, direct debits… all in French
- You may have problems to solve with French Administration
(sécurité Sociale, Tax Office, Préfecture, Mairie…)
- You may have claims to send,  phone calls to make to solve a problem….

We can :
- Give you the information you require
- Help you fill French forms
- Interpret or translate letters or give calls on your behalf
- Translate your request
- Liaise with local or government officials
- supply you with addresses and phone numbers of the local departments you will need to contact
- Warn you about traps you could fall into

- I'm based in the Pyrenees Orientales. I require an accountant to give me information on my SCI and current business project.
- Can you advise me how to locate a G.M.C. registered doctor in Morbihan, Brittany, France ?
- Do you know of anyone who would house/pet sit for a few days whilst we went away? We have 3 dogs and 2 cats. I live in the Ariege.
- Could you tell me if you have a good cook around the area of Eymet (dordogne/lot et garonne?).
- I wonder if you can help, my inlaws have moved to a very remote part of the cantal region and are looking for a piano supplier.

Some tradesmen and companies have made the choice to be listed on our website. You may then contact them directly.
We have also built a database of people you could need the help of which we keep improving.
Nevertheless, your demand can be very specific.
If the persons you are looking for are not listed on our website or in our database, we can :
- Research them
- Contact them for you and be your intermediary

We will then charge a minimum of 25€ for time spent on researching and to put you in touch with the people you need.

You may find yourself in situations where you need bilingual assistance or information.
- You want to buy a special article in a shop,
- you are given instructions that you don’t understand by a lady in the Sécurité Sociale office,
- your young daughter has a medical emergency in the middle of the night..

You don’t know where to apply for a « certificat de non gage » when selling your car,
where to get a full birth certificate, where to find an English speaking doctor or dentist…..

Subscribe for one month or more and you can call us Monday to Friday, from 8 :30 am to 6 :00 pm and 24 hours a day, 7 days a week in case of emergency
